Setting the Spark: Homeschooling Through the Seasons, Unschooling Edition

The cold and rainy winter can bring unique challenges for homeschooling families. Setting the Spark: Introduction to Charlotte Mason

In today's episode, co-host Lorien Magnus gives an introduction to the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy. Lorien discusses some of the major tenants of the Charlotte Mason method such as habit training, living books, nature study, short lessons and a couple different CM curriculums. She also discusses how she incorporates some of these practices into her homeschool day. Other topics include the discussion of morning time/a morning basket, ways Lorien is not a CM purist, and lots and lots of discussions of books.
